Default Moving forward with dignity

I agree with Obama?s policy of moving forward and not looking back in the spirit of vindictiveness..

However, G.W. Bush?s public admission of knowing of and giving (legal advice) clearance to torture practices does force Barrack?s hand to uphold the law against war crimes. We the people cannot hold a moral authority around the globe or have faith in the Constitution if he looks past torture and illegal surveillance by the U.S. government on it?s own people. If President Obama chooses to give these crimes a free pass the charge will move from W?s plate to his in the eyes of the world.

Our new president will not be able to face this nation nor will Secretary of State Elect Hilary Clinton be able to face world leaders with this stain on our country?s record. History will remember those who committed war crimes and violated the Constitution as well as those who saw it and gave it a free pass.
