The Welfare of Other Countries?

This is a debate about weather or not you support the American government, handing out welfare to other countries. Be it in monetary form, in supplies, troops etc. If so why, if not why and if you would rather keep the money here, what would you rather it be spent on, and if you are ok with it being spent outside the country .

Obviously i will not support it, in almost 100% of the cases, because our tax money is for us, here in America. I do not approve of loaning or granting other countries money, or buying and supplying them with medicine and food, when our people need the help here. I believe our people come first and foremost and it doesn't always matter if our money spent is a good deed or not, it isn't always the best allocation of our money when our people need healthcare and food too. I believe efforts should be made and funds given by organizations not affiliated with the government that use donations not from the government. i do not want to see poor starving children in Africa or wherever, but we have malnourished and starving children and adults here in America, we have homeless, and sick too, we just hide it better and try to pretend those people are there at their own fault or we pretend they don't exist
