It is a crime that the us doesn't have national health care, this country needs to model england or the canada. Health care for veterans, should be the same, no more va hospitals close them down.

Amennnnnnn Jack!!!!!
As a veteran myself I couldn't agree more. As you know healthcare is a major money making business in tha US, that would mean some of the rich wouldn't be as rich. Now this is my simple take on this issue. If Congress had to live by the laws that they passed ; somehow I think that they would make better choices. For example health care the same for everyone regardless of your economic stance. Now however if you have the money and would like to add extra service ie cosmetic procedures and extra dental services be my guest. I just believe that fair is fair and if you pay taxes you should have the same opportunities for decent healthcare as those in congress. Aren't they suppose to being serving the people?????!!! PUBLIC SERVANTS what does that mean?Hmmmmmmmmmm |

As a vet and working in the Healthcare field I have been concerned as to how we will see a national healthcare initiative advanced. CMS is not set up to be a distribution point and something this important should not be contracted out. We have an agency that is set up for this type of project. The DLA is set up for contracting and contract follow up. It is through them that the initial contracting can take place and basic follow up. It is through a contracting agency such as DLA where we can get the best service and have the best control over contracts set up for healthcare.
