Default Gun Control Vs Gun Banishment

This issue drives me up the wall. I have gotten into so many debates with people who are dead convinced that Obama is going to personally march into their homes and pry their guns from their protesting fingers.

But, not only does he not have the authority to cancel out the Second Amendment, but I haven't heard any plans to try to banish guns. What has been discussed is more strict gun control, which is not at all the same thing. Making it harder for people with felonies to buy guns, or making it illegal to buy guns from pawn shops without a permit is not a negative change, it's a necessary one, given the amount of gun violence this country has been seeing from people who gained ownership of the weapons with recorded mental health issues or illegally.

What do you think?

Talking Blizzard support.

Apparently, some people who simply "bought points" from win traded teams or bought win trading teams are getting banned as well. world of warcraft goldThis has caused some confusion among people. buy wow gold Blizzard poster Ananathes confirmed what other posters said: While Blizzard has not cracked down on buying high level teams in the past, or declared it illegal, wow gold they do not support it in any way either -- and certainly, cheap wow goldsome of the new season 4 rules are specifically designed to make it nearly impossible. Blue poster Reythur recommended that anyone who felt they were banned unjustly should contact Blizzard support.

Cool RE: Gun Control Vs Gun Banishment

Banning guns and gun control is one and the same thing. Advancement of gun control ultimately leads to the disarming of the public, and infringement on Second Amendment rights.
How about if we say the First Amendment is OK, except we're going to lay down the law about what we think is appropriate, and what you're able to say.
The Gun Control Act of 1968 was patterned after the Nazi Gun Control Laws of the 1930's.
Adolf Hitler himself said "Any conqueror who allows his subjects to be armed prepares for his own downfall by so doing."
Now, a little more factual history here.
The architect of the Gun Control Act of 1968 was then Senator Thomas Dodd, of Connecticut, father of current Senator Christopher Dodd.
Thomas Dodd served as a prosecutor at the Nuremberg trials, where he supposedly obtained a copy of the Nazi Gun Control Laws of 1938.
Dodd requested The Library of Congress in July 1968 to translate a series of Nazi documents and laws, which bear a striking resemblance to the Gun Control Act of 1968.
Dodd himself was censured by the Senate for ethic violations, and following a heart attack, chose not to seek reelection.
Check it out for yourself. This is factual, not a lot of BS.

Thumbs up TAX ammunition at a HIGHER rate...

Since banning Automatic Weapons is seemingly impossible -

How about taxing the ammunition for Automatic Weapons at the same rate as AIG bonuses were proposed to be taxed.

Hey some Republicans voted for it - even Rep Cantor.

- Are we ALWAYS going to live in fear of the NRA and the whole militia comparisons?
