Useless Funding

How many times a day to you come across a newspaper ad or tv station broadcasting all of the funds being rewarded for one reason or another. Often it's to redo roards that really dont need work, or to build a new hotel or some other silly thing that could be done without.

Why are we wasting money on these things when we have so many who are going hungry, homeless, and sick? If we cut our spending on useless wants then we can find the resources needed for those who really need it.

A lot of those useless "projects" are probably just set up by corrupt politicians to make some quick cash without the public being aware of it. Often they'll set up deals with other crooked companies and inflate costs, and pocket the earnings.

It's sad, but I agree that something should be done about it. As a matter of fact, all those transactions should be made public, including how much tax money was used and how it was used. It's the public's money, so they should have the right to know.

We need to develop a voting process easily accessible to all Americans on major issues involving the allocation of tax money. Dedicate a web site to make all transactions apparent to interested Americans. Dedicate a news channel that details the issues being discussed and the actions taken. Only pass bills on a single issue, do not allow multiple issues to be incorporated for the purpose of hiding or opposing important issues. I believe that the American people would be far more acceptable to the idea of paying taxes if they were assured that their money was benefiting the economy, creating jobs, and protecting our country.

Well commercial ads should be made but ads should not be made for no reason. All of us come across some type of advertisement in some other form . Even if we visit the restaurent we can see alot of advertisemnts even on tissue paapers telling about their products. I think we should not spend much money on advertisement there should be limited advertisement.
